Abstract: 

The most exciting and important web technologies of
today include Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML)
and RIA (Rich Internet Application).

The primary function of Ajax and RIA technology is to
improve the user experience by bringing the desktop
functionality over to the web.

The talk presents the examples of the Ajax and RIA
applications that use the web as a platform for CAS.

The talk also discusses the features to improve CAS in
relation to the major advancement of the web technology,
or Web 2.0.
